Here are my answers to the iVoterGuide.com Survey.

My answers to iVoterGuide are not as extensive as the ones for the Salem Capitol Chronicle because I did not know the character limit on iVoterGuide’s responses. You can see my responses to the Salem Capitol Chronicle Survey here.

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
I AGREE

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
I AGREE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
As allowed by state law. It is a Constitutional Violation for Congress to legislate such a thing at the federal level. I will support limiting abortion at the state level.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
The most the federal government should do limit abortion is to encourage and support the development of strong patriotic families in our Nation. Any legislative action on such an issue is strictly the jurisdiction of the individual states.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
In short, “Reduce taxes by reducing the size of the federal government, especially the executive branch.” Most federal government operations are in violation of the 10th Amendment of The Constitution and operate with huge amounts of waste and fraud. If these agencies and their operations were turned over to the states, they would provide better services at a fraction of the cost. RussIsForUS.com/what-if

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
That is an accurate statement. It also increases inflation and is a violation of The Constitution For The United States of America.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
NO. Doing so violates over 20 Constitutional Amendments and Congressional Acts.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does “separation of church and state” mean to you?
Simply, it means, “One shall not direct the other.”
That does not mean that they should be mutually exclusive. Proper leadership requires ethics and morality. More on this at RussIsForUs.com/god

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
NO. That sounds like a form of slavery. Part of the main intent of the Constitution For the United States of America is to protect citizens from being randomly compelled to do things they do not wish to do.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes “universal healthcare,” “medicare for all,” etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
None of the above. The the answers do not consider how this issue should actually be addressed logistically nor constitutionally. System costs, abuse and misuse must all be addressed along with States Rights. A solution that works will likely be “none of the above.”
(My issue with this question is that all responses either keep the federal government in charge, or shut down the system. There is another option – RussIsForUS.com/what-if)

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America’s foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others’ policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C. “Imminent danger” may be too strong of a statement as threats can be many things and become imminently dangerous quickly. In today’s world we may need to be a little more pro-active that to wait for “imminent danger,” but I agree with the intent of the statement.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Yes. They are also current a threat within our borders and in our government.

Is the United States’ relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Relationships with all allies are important until they are not. In the end, neither controls, nor operates for the other. Stating that any ally’s relationship is important over any other ally’s relationship is inappropriate. Acting in such a way could be your undoing. All be allies are our allies as long as there is a return on the investment.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
In short, “Destruction of the Military from within.”
I am certain that the space allowed for this response is not adequate to provide all of the causes. Much of that comes down to a simple statement for those who would enlist. “The United States Military is no longer the source of pride for this country and for those who serve.”

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
YES. The least expensive long term solution is to complete the wall. Border Security should also be turned over to the US Military. There is no reason for additional federal agencies to secure our nation. RussIsForUS.com/immigration

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Due to the invasion we have suffered over the last three years it should be nearly no one for several years. We need to sort out what we have before we can consider taking on more. During this period it should only be true asylum seekers and few special cases.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Yes. These things are state issues. I will work for federal legislation that moves this issue to the states permanently.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Yes.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
This is a true statement. Also, in the spirit of the “separation of church and state,” the church has no authority to dictate to government what it recognizes as a “union” between human beings. The actual issue here from a government viewpoint is a cross between the right to tax the citizens, and which citizens receive special tax treatment with a little bit of marxist philosophy mixed in. If we address those issues head-on, your initial question may become moot.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Yes.
(This question and answer concern me. The statements about children are true. However, in recent years government agencies that have been charged with “protecting” children have become the abusers. Here is one report on the issue.…and another)

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Never

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. I am a Patriot. I value truth and honesty. My highest priorities are God, The Constitution and YOU.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.
NO. Voters must be US Citizens, must be registered to vote and must provide proof of identity to vote. We also need to eliminate machine counting and unexcused mail in-voting. I would like to see a “National Vote Day” holiday with one ID, one in person ballot completed in one day and counted by hand, or by simple non-computerized machines.

The Electoral College should be abolished.
NO. It is an integral part of our Constitutional Republic (very different from a democracy)

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
NO. It is CRT and any efforts toward “equity” that are racist.
(I really dislike the term racist because, “He who screams ‘racism’ the loudest is.” See more at RussIsForUS.com/human)

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports or occupy biological women’s spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women’s shelters, or prison.
CORRECT.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
NO. That statement is proven to be fictitious.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear and Hydro-Electric

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE

What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Provide an environment where the people can thrive with peace, freedom, liberty, prosperity and provide protection from global political threats.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
NO

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
NO

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
NO.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
NO.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
1. Non-Citizens to not have 2nd Amendment Rights

2. Convicted violent felons should be restricted

3. Persons deemed through “due process of law” to be “mentally incompetent” or a “hazard to others” should be limited.

There are no other restrictions on gun ownership that serve public safety.
